ABOUT FUNNY FACES
Balloon Decor, balloon sculpting, glitter tattoos, caricatures, face painting, story telling. . .
Tami’s life path was destined to take her interesting places. One could say that it diverged from the norm when she took a job in college as a balloon sculptor in the tourist haven of the Wisconsin Dells. That summer she learned that she had a knack for the artistic side of the trade, she found real meaning in making someone’s day special, and that that had to be a part of her chosen career.
Tami wanted to learn more about the philosophy behind quality entertainment, and to develop her hands-on skills… so naturally the next step was to attend Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, right? She graduated with the class of 1995, and then had the high honor of traveling with the circus the following year. She performed and learned alongside the best in the business, growing to understand what in-person entertaining could be.
When Tami returned to the Madison area, she knew that she not only wanted to entertain children and their families, but that she was going to have to develop her own business style to do so. Funny Faces Children’s Entertainment was the result of that aspiration. Which evolved in to Funny Faces Family Entertainment. She has been told that her approach to family entertainment really is very personable and geared towards all ages. And yes, she finds bringing joy to others is as fulfilling as she hoped it would be. In other words… she is serious about fun!
