Funny Faces is a local and green woman-owned company. As a lifetime Madisonian and mom to three, it’s important to me to run an environmentally-sensitive company. Funny Faces has invested in a 100% electric delivery van. Our professional quality balloons are made from latex sustainably harvested from rubber trees, not plastic. We reuse our foil balloons when possible. And because we care about the environment, Funny Faces is a member of the Pro Environment Balloon Alliance, an international organization dedicated to safe balloon practices.  We do not support balloon releases, we use air-filled balloons in all of our balloon decor, and we're committed to sending our latex and mylar balloons to a speciality recycling facility. When you are using balloons, we encourage you to “pin it and bin it” too! Funny Faces' customers have the option to help with our green-cause by paying a voluntary recycling fee that covers cost of recycling.

Our used latex balloons are ground into a finer powder used to make athletic mats, padding and other rubber-based products.  Our used foil balloons are recycled in the same manner as candy wrappers.  They're extruded, pelletized and turned into plastic products. 

The stakes used to anchor your yard balloons and other outdoor balloon decorations can be recycled in your garden or given back. If your design used rented bases and framing we’ll collect those after the event for reuse. 

After your event is finished, are are happy to repurpose your balloon display at a local retirement community as well. Let us know if you would like to give a second home to your display. We have organizations we work with who delight in enjoying our creative balloon decor.
